    Im doing a budget build for January 2019, best buck to performance ratio in the market is a 1070, best "budget buck to performance" is 1050 Ti, Im using 1050 Ti for that build. If you can save for a 1050 Ti trust me, its totally worth. You will be able to play almost any modern game at 1080P. There are other options even under 100$ which will give you the performance you are looking for, like a 1030, just make sure its the GDDR5 version, there is also a DDR4 version, yes, they used RAM (System, DDR4) Memory to build a version of the 1030, both about the same price and they dont have different names. You just have to look at the specs on the box to know what you are getting. If you accidentally buy the DDR4 version you will loose over 50% performance because of memory bandwidth

    one little problem tho, you will need a gen 1 ryzen cpu to flash it unless it doesn't say on your board it's ryzen 2 ready then it's ok. some motherboard manufacturers allow bios flash without cpu over USB and bios flashback button on the back IO or on the board it self but most don't have that feature (specifically AMD boards, that feature is found only on Intel ones like Z370, 170, 270 and higher end boards...). if you put your gen 2 ryzen there's a high chance the board will not recognize the cpu and the system won't post. Some manufacturers like asus started to update their boards BIOS when ryzen 2  launched so it says on the packaging it's compatible and ready with ryzen 2 chips. keep that in mind mate.

     

    Because of that AMD partners will, in near future, ship boards with bios flashback feature.

     

    :O I havent though about that! Well, I guess I can ask a friend for another AM4 processor to flash it. I have several friends who own computer shops and technical service shops

    You'll definitely need to flash the BIOS to a newer version unless the store updates it by them selves. There's a PC shop here that as soon as they get new motherboards in stock they update the BIOS to the latest version to make it a more painless experience for the consumer when he buys from them. Kudos to those guys, they'll do everything for you and free of charge.

     

    Yeh I know most probably I will have to as its a 2nd gen ryzen. But its not that hard, just a bootable usb

    I will be buying a Gigabyte GA-AB350M-DS3H motherboard for my Ryzen build. It has 4 DDR4 DIMMs slots running at dual channel and supports memory up to 3200MHz, X370 chipset, support up to 7th Gen A-Series cpus and of course Zen Architecture (Ryzen). It also has M.2 Port for a NVMe Drive, 2 PCI Express slots, one of them PCIX16 and the other one PCIX4, and a PCIX1 slots.

    What I mean is that you dont need a full atx motherboard to get all the features, you just have to know where to look. Of course you have more potential with full atx boards, but there are atx boards out there which dont have all the features this micro atx has. Oh, and its only 70 USD

    @YI on july 5, so in less than 48 hours already

     

    they organize sales each monday and during weekdays as well, so you can just add the game you want in wishlist and will recieve notification by e-mail when it goes on sale

     

    :c well, I already have a couple on the wish list. I might just start throwing some money to the steam wallet every month, saving for january 2019 (Metro Exodus)
