And as substanz said before, I dont like ruling out a certain part of the active player base. You take away their perks, then you take away their joy and or mood to play.
Crossfire succes came with these settings, lets keep it this way.

I agree with Qbd , adding small changes may effect stability of the server which is one of the last things we wanna see.

There is already a softcore server...

Discussion has been there before to disable such perks. Let me elaborate.
Crossfire server is the most heavily loaded one and activating parts of the script may compromise stability for what appears to be a minor change.
This is also the reason we do not use more than 48 slots. I personally believe not everything can be automated, which is why we also actively recruit new admins
to deal with the mentioned problems. Such changes will also not be made without concrete metrics and unanimity of all red admins (which lacks in this case). Maybe another Red Admin will think differently about this, but I believe this captures the essence.

Hello players,
 
We updated  our hide and seek server on CoD4 to the latest version. This fixes:
unable to disable moth effect unable to use m14 as secondary weapon unable to use dog unable to use certain types of camos VIP is now also automatically assigned to you after reaching level 114 on the server.
This will give you extra features, such as being able to play as a dog.
