Sad day for my PC...I have a laptop with 2 internal hard drives : one SSD for OS+programs and one HDD for games+movies/series+photos.And just before going on vacation, the HDD died (loud clicks and impossible to read). Which means I lost all my games, my gaming data (except for Steam Cloud), my photos, my school documents... Movies arent' any problem, I can download them again. But now I mourn for my hard drive... I put it in the freezer (saw that on the web), and I will try tomorrow morning to save maximum of data.

Yes I know what you're thinking : why didnt you do a save on an external hard drive ? Well, I do it every 6 months. Last time I did it was for Chrismas vacations, and I planed to do it in... 2 weeks from now.Yes it sucks. Now I've learned my lesson, I will do saves more frequent, and save my school documents (which the worst loss with personnal photos) on cloud. I also plan to wait a few years when I'll work and earn some money to pay a shop to extract the data. Now i'm going on vacations, I will be able to play COD and FM16 (as I dwl them tonight), but I only have 128 gb SSD, so my options are limited.I don't plan to buy another HDD, as I will work this summer to buy a brand new computer (mine is old and dying anyway). So I probably won't play any other games other than COD4 or FM16 before that time.

For those who are interested, I plan to buy an ASUS ROG G752 :

    Hey there nN !!

2 weeks ago, I was organizing with more than 150 mates the largest festival only made by students in France !!
It is directly on my school campus, in Lyon.

This festival gathers more than 30.000 people during the whole weekend (may 13th-14th-15th). It is composed of 3 main activities :

    - Sports : with the famous (well, in the region) 24-hour bike endurance race (single or teams). But also a 24-hour race on foot and a triathlon. (~400 contestants)

    - Activities during the day (saturday and sunday) : open for families and kids; with a large range of activities such as Extreme jump, retro arcade games, activities for kids. (~5.000 persons per day)
    All there : http://www.24heures.org/animations/

    - Concerts by night : the only part that is not free for the public, but you have to pay a ridiculous amount : 15€ for the whole weekend (10.000 persons per night)

The concert part is the best, with a lot of famous groups over the years, mostly french but not only : Skip The Use, Shaka Ponk, Overwerk, The Subways, Uppermost...

This year, we had a lot of wonderful artists ! Here are all of them : https://www.24heures.org/concerts/
The main theme is electro, precisely french touch/french house. The most famous this year are :

    FRIDAY :
    - Hyphen Hyphen (electro pop)
    - Dusty Kid (electro)
    - Netsky (electro)

    SATURDAY :
    - Etienne de Crecy (electro, French Touch)
    - DANGER (electro, French Touch)
    - San Holo (electro, rap remix)

Here some photos and videos about the event (I'm not on any of them don't ask ^^) :

    - Last year aftermovie (in french)

    - This year DANGER performance (amazing performance, the best for me) :

Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare Remastered: 5 Things to Know
In addition to a new 2016 Call of Duty game Infinite Warfare, there is a Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered release that will bring a classic Call of Duty 4 game to the newest consoles this fall.
The original Call of Duty: Modern Warfare arrived in 2007 from Infinity Ward, redefining the Call of Duty experience. This year the Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare release date brings a new experience that the team believes will bring the biggest changes to the game since Modern Warfare, but it also comes with a throwback.
If you buy a special edition of the 2016 Call of Duty game you will also get Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare Remastered so that you can play through this game with better graphics and on your current consoles.

Everything you need to know about the COD 4 remaster that arrives this fall as Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered.
After months of rumors, this is confirmed and you will be able to play it this fall. We are starting to learn very important Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered details that gamers need to know.
While many people in the community are focused on the new COD 2016 game, we know a lot of players want to go back to boots on the ground combat with an amazing story experience and fun multiplayer. For these gamers, the biggest COD release this year is Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered.
We’ll walk through what we know about the Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered release date, what the game contains, who is making it and offer up some visual comparisons to help you understand what is coming.
Your stats will not transfer over from Call of Duty 4 on Xbox 360 or PS3 to the new game. There will be dedicated servers for the Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered multiplayer mode.

The in game movement will stay true to the original game, so you don’t need to worry about advanced movement and chain based movement getting in the way of your favorite game.

At this stage we don’t know anything about a Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered beta or demo.
Here is everything you need to know about the Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered release date that comes in fall 2016 with Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered Release Date

The Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered release date is November 4th alongside Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare according to all the information that we have at this time.
With a new Call of Duty 4 Remastered release date coming this year, fans will not only get to play a new Call of Duty 2016 game, but also go back to a classic that delivers boots on the ground fun.
The Modern Warfare Remastered release date comes at the same time as Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare, but that isn't a concern to the developers. In an interview with Forbes we learn about new maps and what Infinity Ward studio head Dave Stohl has to say about these games coming out at the same time.
"If you think about it, basically they scratch two different itches. You’re gonna scratch the kind of more nostalgiaModern Warfare itch with the remaster, but all the kinda cool new stuff in Infinite Warfare is really exciting too. Obviously the Infinite Warfare experience is big with all the new bells and whistles, but it’ll be fun to go back toModern Warfare multiplayer as well.”
Raven Software is responsible for the Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered release. The company helped Infinity Ward with Modern Warfare 3, Ghosts and plays a large role in the Call of Duty: Online game that is available in China.

Can I Buy Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered Alone?

From the early reactions to Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare and Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered, we are hearing a common question from gamers.
People want to know if they can buy Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered alone. Ideally there will be a special Modern Warfare Remastered digital version available for gamers to buy, but it's not clear if that will happen.

Activision confirms that you can only buy Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered with Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare.
While there may be a chance to get a code from someone else, the FAQ states, "You must own Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare in order to get Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered."

There may be some kind of system check to make sure you have Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered Versions

The Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered release is coming to Xbox One, PS4 and PC so no one is left out.
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare originally released on Xbox 360 and PS3, and there is no chance that you will see a remastered version for these consoles. Even through graphics improved over the life of these consoles this is focused on the current generation of consoles and PC.

We expect a timed exclusive for Infinite Warfare that will bring DLC to the PS4 first, but there is not any indication that PS4 owners will get to play Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered before Xbox One or PC at this point.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered Graphics

Unlike some game bonuses that just include the old version of a game that can run on a newer console or PC -- this is a remastered Call of Duty 4 release.
That means that the graphics are ready to impress, and should live up to what you are used to on the Xbox One, PS4 and current gaming PCs. Here's a comparison of the trailer and of the old game.

    In a press release about the game we learn some details about the upgraded graphics;
"Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered boasts vibrant current generation visuals, with fully improved texture resolution and detail, high-dynamic range lighting, lit and shadowing VFX particles, revamped animation and audio, stunning sound, and much more"

The video above is from the tail end of the Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare trailer, and shows off the new upgrade graphics of the Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered game.

    What's in Modern Warfare Remastered?

Now that we know the Call of Duty 4 Remastered release is actually happening, it's time to look at what you get with this game. First off, this is only the first game, there is no Modern Warfare 2 Remaster like one rumor originally stated.
You get to play the full campaign in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered. This includes all of the missions including All Ghillied Up, Charlie Don't Surf and Crew Expendable.  In Short, this is the same campaign you loved, but the graphics are getting a huge upgrade.
There is also a Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare Remastered multiplayer component that will allow you to relive some of your favorite maps and online gameplay. Ther video below shows gameplay in Overgrown from the original game.

While there were a total of 20 Modern Warfare maps with DLC involved, not all of them are making it to the remastered version of the game. With Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered you will get 10 multiplayer maps. We know that this includes

      -- Crash
      -- Backlot
      -- Crossfire
      -- Bog
      -- Overgrown

We don't know anything else about the other 5 maps. We also don't know if more Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered maps will will come with the Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare DLC.

In addition to these modes and single player, the game features full multiplayer progression for weapons, perks, attachments and support for Master Prestige.

I love RTS games, and also simulation games.

I played enourmous amounts of time on Cossacks !! European Wars, American Conquest, and Cossacks II : Napoleonic Wars
Now I mostly play Civilization V.

I played also  a lot the Warhammer 40k Dawn of War Series : Dark Crusade and SOulstrom, and DOW II

I always loved difficulty in these games. The most interesting for strategic purposes is for me Cossacks II : its gameplay is hard to apprehend, but it is very smart, and in multiplayer againt another hooman, it is splendid !

On Simulation games, I played hours on Sim City 3000, Sim City 4. Now I play a lot on Game Dev Tycoon, a fantastic game you should discover !

Hey nN! Since strategy games are one of my favorite game categories, I wanted to ask do you love RTS games? If so, which ones and do you still play that type of game genre?

Share your experiences in playing, strategy you used, funny moments, screenshots of your vast armies or your fails. It would be nice to know that there are RTS lovers like myself among you.

    Have fun.

    Hello nN !

After the birth of new CSGO servers and a brand new Team Fortress 2 server, why not continue ? I present to you ARMA III :

    http://cdn.akamai.steamstatic.com/steam/apps/107410/header.jpg?t=1455791379

What is ARMA III ?? Well, as said on toptiertactics.com :

This isn’t your little brother’s shooter

It doesn’t matter if you come from Battlefield, Call of Duty, Crysis, Halo, Team Fortress 2, [insert shooter here], you’ll find Arma 3 to be a very different beast. The focus is on large maps, limited player counts (the average max is about 50), and realistic weapon handling. If you’re used to being able to go full auto at most distances and succeed, you’ll be in for a surprise when you jump into Arma. Every shot creates significant recoil, and you’ll find yourself aiming at the sky pretty quick if you can’t control your trigger finger.

More importantly, Arma is significantly slower paced than most FPS’s released today. You’ll spend much of your time moving from place to place, and comparatively little shooting at other players. Vehicles are essential not as weapons but as transportation, as running three kilometers isn’t nearly as fun when every hill might hold a sniper or, worse, nothing at all.
When combat does happen, it’s visceral, chaotic, and quick. Most combats end within a minute of first engagement, and the victor is (almost) always the player with more skill. In those cases where it isn’t, there’s one of two factors involved. 1. Alpha build hit detection/lag, and/or 2. A sniper.

Lastly, because of the large maps and time spent between battles, when you do come across another player/group of players, they’ll be a fair distance away. For this reason, they may or may not know you spotted them, and the engagement is on your terms. To control recoil, fire in single shots. You’ll want an ARCO/RCO scope, a dual 12x and red dot sight. Guns kill quickly, even at long range, so if you’ve got decent aim and can gauge the bullet drop, you should get at least one kill out of the deal. There are no hit markers in Arma, but there is a faint thunk sound signifying a successful hit. If you did manage the kill, a message will pop up saying “[Enemy Name] was killed by [Your Name].â€

Your first kill is very satisfying. Enjoy it.

So you see, its gameplay is very different than classic FPS games we play in nN, like Call of Duty 4 or CSGO ! It is more like a simulation-game rather than an action-game. It's like a realistic simulation of war !

    Steam Requirements :

OS :Windows Vista SP2 ou Windows 7 SP1  Processeur :Intel Dual-Core 2.4 GHz ou AMD Dual-Core Athlon 2.5 GHz  Mémoire :2 Go RAM  Graphismes :NVIDIA GeForce 8800GT ou AMD Radeon HD 3830 ou Intel HD Graphics 4000 avec 512 MB VRAM  DirectX® :10  Disque dur :15 Go d'espace libre  Son :compatible avec DirectX® RECOMMANDÉ : OS :Windows 7/8/10 (64bit)  Processeur :Intel Core i5-2300 ou AMD Phenom II X4 940 ou supérieur  Mémoire :4 Go RAM  Graphismes :NVIDIA GeForce GTX 560 ou AMD Radeon HD 7750 avec 1 Go VRAM ou supérieur  DirectX® :11  Disque dur :25 Go d'espace libre (stockage SSD/Hybrid HDD/SSHD)  Son :compatible avec DirectX®

    With beautiful graphics :

    http://cdn2.gamefront.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/11/chopperdown.jpg

As this game wants to be like a realistic military operation, it involves long games, with basic tatic and cooperation.

    Gamemode types:

Within ArmA, you will find a wide variety of gamemodes:
COOP: Cooperative missions. These usually include one or two teams working together to defeat a common enemy. These do not feature players fighting against each other; rather, players work together to defeat AI of differing strengths. TDM/DM: Team Deathmatch or simply Deathmatch. A widely known game type in all types of game communities, this focuses around two or more teams of human players fighting against each other in different environments. Typically, but not always, this gamemode is limited to infantry only, or transport vehicles at best; however, vehicles in general are not restricted. Simple "Deathmatch" does not involve teamwork; instead, players are pitted on their own against each other, and may team up, but are not required to.  CTF: Capture the Flag. Pretty self-explanatory - two or more teams work against each other to capture a designated objective and bring it back to their base.  CTI: Capture the Island. An island-wide gamemode that involves, typically, two teams going head-to-head and attempting to capture the entire island - all 270km2 of it - using all possible assets available. These missions usually span 3-4 hours or more of gameplay and require intense team coordination. SC: Sector Control. Similar to CTI except that Sector Control usually only contains 1-5 "objectives" necessary to capture, typically spanning only about 4-16km2 of land. RPG: Role-Playing Game. A variant of ArmA that focuses more on roleplaying and taking emphasis off of the organized military combat. Usually focuses on civilian life on Altis, typically with or against police forces and rebels. ZEUS: Zeus Gamemaster Variants of other gamemodes. Zeus is a free DLC for everyone on ArmA III that allows someone, called "Zeus", to manipulate, spawn in, and direct units and the flow of combat in a realtime 3D editor. He may place down audio elements, change the time or weather, place down static objects, and create a variety of scenarios in-game. Typically, these are done by private communities.
    Level Editor

This tool gives you the opportunity to create missions and scenarios that we can play on a server !! This will gives us the opportunity to play how we want and to create together the best nN war plan !

ARMA III Tactical Guide : where you can learn everything about the gameplay, tactics etc... http://ttp3.dslyecxi.com/index.php

So now, the one million dollar question, would who be interested in playing ARMA III on an nN server ??

It is very different than Call Of Duty or CSGO, so we would need to learn a lot how the game works, and how the level editor works; but after some preparations and playing time,we would be able to create a fun server (private or public) with nice nN events ! But I insist on the point that it is a game that requires a lot of patience, that it is way harder and less arcade than typical FPS games, and last.... if you die, you dont spawn again. You're dead until the end of the game, wchich can last 10 minutes up to... 4 hours !

If you have any questions, if you are interested into creating an ARMA III team, don't hesistate to say it in the comments !

Palaces, museums, churches, monuments and cultural sites fell victim to the bombs.

Allied newspapers described Shanina as “the unseen terror of East Prussiaâ€

It’s so odd to see that an object roughly the same size as an SUV can destroy an entire city and leave radioactive damage for lifetimes afterwards. The Fat Man and Trinity were both implosion based plutonium devices, but they were very different weapons. Trinity’s “the gadget†was a massive unemployable bomb that would test the theories that Fat Man was based on.
