Hey guys,
Buying a new PC at the end of this month with monitor. Budget is 1000 euros.
I was thinking about this:
Case :Corsair Carbide 200R
Motherboard : GIGABYTE GA-970A-DS3P (AMD CrossfireX)
Processor (CPU): AMD FX-4300 ( 4x 3800 Mhz ) Quad-Core
- cooler: Scythe Katana 4
RAM: 8GB DDR3 1600Mhz (Corsair Memory - Dual Channel)
Graphics card: NVIDIA GTX 750 Ti (MSI GTX750TI Gaming 2G GDDR5)
500 GB HDD
128GB SSD (Crucial MX100)
Power supply : Corsair VS Series VS650
Windows 7 home premium. 64 bit.
EDIT: monitor : Samsung S22D300HY
This all together is already 1000 so no changes can be made that are more expensive.
I would like to hear tips/suggestions to improve it within the budget. :)

How to enable console
For most clients, the console is diabled from gaming. All you have to do is go to "Options" - "Multiplayer Options" and change the "Enable Console" to "yes".
Then, at any time, you can just hit on the ~ key to open console or shift + ~ to open the full console, it really has no difference also make sure when typing something in consol type / before anything else
Clients Commands
The commands below helped me a lot here :
/com_maxfps 125
This is REALLY important cuz the higher the fps is, the more smoother it is in game
/cg_fov 80
Field of view (fov) is basicily how wide you see. The higher it is, the wider you will see. It is a huge advantage for people didn't use this. However, this will make everything, your enemy, bombs, and other stuff look smaller. So still, careful with it.The defult was 60 and the max is 80, it's up to you really.
/r_drawdecals 1
1 is on, 0 is off. It will clean up the random trashes, papers, ashes and those stuff in the map, it will bring you a fps boost! However, some servers want you have bad fps so it will be turned off when you enter those servers.
/maxpackets 100
This is for people who have good fps but bad hit registrations. Defult is 30, and you should increase it to 100 if your fps is 125.
/snaps 30
This command tells the game how many time it update the position of a player, bullets, ect per sec. Defult is 20, 30 will make game smoother.
/r_drawsun 0
Turn off those stupid effects to save few fps for you. 1 is on, 0 is off.
/cg_brass 0
Turn off shell ejection. Not have to render them would save you a few fps. 1 is on, 0 is off.
How to bind a key
/bind [key] say [what you want]
Example:
Open consol and type
/bind F1 say I'm to pro for you
Now when you press F1 it will automaticaly say:
I'm to pro for you
And more binds not just this
Color codes
Different Colors:
^0 = Black
^1 = Red/Orange
^2 = Lime Green
^3 = Yellow
^4 = Navy Blue
^5 = Light Blue
^6 = Purple
^7 = White/Default
^8 = Gray
^9 = Gray/Map Default
Example:
/bind [key] say ^3hello
Now when you hit your chosen key it will say

I just lost my job which was a base salary of £252.52 a week, now on a pay of £102 a week and even that isn't guaranteed (0 hour contracts ftw), so I have no spare cash to fix my out dated and trashed pc, what should I do guys miss playing cod4 with you guys, looking for a job that covers my rent and bills but it's hard at the moment..
Just wondering is there a place to get dirt cheap computer parts in the UK?

Hi
This a a Tip for everyone out there if you don't use fraps or bandicam or xfire or what ever else you use
See a hacker?
First you want to bind this by opening up consol so you don't always have to type it so type in consol:
/bind F6 "record"
Now when you press F6 on your keyboard it will start recording automatically
Then when you have enough proof you can make another bind so type in consol:
/bind F8 "stoprecord"
Now by pressing F8 the recording will stop
As we don't accept demos you want to go a locate this record
So you will find it under
Local Disk/Program Files/Call Of Duty 4/Main/Demo
The name of the demo ( if its your first demo ) will be named record0000
now how to open this demo?
There are two ways
1. Download CoD4 Player which plays demos google CoD4 player
Now for 2
2. If the demos don't open with CoD4 player , you can simple do this
Locate the demo once again
Cut it to the folder
Mods/Modern Warfare
Then create a folder name Demos
And paste in there
Then open CoD4 and go to the mod Modern Warfare and select the mod once in the menu open consol and type
/demo demo0000
And hit enter it will open the demo
Now you need to record over the demo with something
Use: Fraps , Bandicam or xfire
Once recorded you going to want to format the video so its a smaller size
So download:
FormatFactory or others there are many more
Once formated upload to youtube and copy the link of the video
And make a ban request
