Maybe it's a weird solution, but try to open the game in window mode. Can you say how is the game called?

Try also increase your virtual memory to 4-6gb. same value for initial/maximum size.

So try also this: http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=8109 and tell results here, then we will find another solution :P

Also run game as administrator, just to be sure your pc doesn't block something.

Worked in the past on same windows, so you have some missed libraries.

Also check your C:WindowsMicrosoft.NETFramework64 does you have all frameworks from v2.0 to 3.5

and C:WindowsMicrosoft.NETFramework from v1.0 to 3.5

Out of memory error doesn't necessarily mean you haven't enough memory. It can means you haven't appropriate directx libraries. I think after update directx your game should startup.

Are you sure, it's real information? I never heard of it. I have installed windows 10 right now and everything works fine. At the beginning I had problems with games (-200fps in cod4), but after install graphic drivers for windows10 all games works better, cod4 works same as before with windows7.

Regarding to illegal copies of games. I don't see any changes. I can startup apps same as in windows7 and I don't feel any restrictions of my software.

I don't have much illegal software, only these what I mention (I won't pay for early access games, which never exist ^^), but as you see I can still use my copies :)

I will look out for informations, but I think you found false news by next windows7 fanboy. A lot of people won't change system. I could understand it, if not the fact, that the latest windows is for free.

but I have one tip. Don't use unregistered vegas pro. Use free program, for example windows live movie maker. It isn't such bad like other think, to merge clips it's enough :)
