From my experience I have much more fun playing this with friends than solo. I was trying to play singleplayer in grid2 and autosport, but no luck. Multi however... Maybe this clip will convince someone to play this game :D If someone did not manage to get a grid, he can still buy it on g2a. People are reselling these keys for 0.5€ atm.

One more thought came to my mind. With the executable file change your drivers could create an dedicated gpu profile, which cause your problems (one of the settings like some anti-aliasing method, which cod4 don't support at all or other features missing in cod4). Reinstall your drivers again, but remember to thoroughly purge current drivers by using 3rd party software like DDU and then install some previous version.

I'm not sure I understand your explanation. You created a program that multiplies the number "i" by consecutive natural numbers from 0 to b. When I type for variables i=2, b=10 I'm getting: 2*0=0,2*1=2, ... , 2*10=20. What we wanna do is to multiply 2 by successive numbers, omitting 2 multiples every time, so we get: 2*0=0, 2*3=6, 2*6=12, ... , 2*b.

1. It's enabled by default: It's not working for you, because your config and profile in cod4 directory is no longer usefull. Cod4x18 write/read profiles in new location "%localappdata%/CallofDuty4MW" (here you find your actual config to modify). Also dunno why don't you just change dynent_active in game. Simply open the console(~) and type dynent_active 1. 2. Not all objects will move, only these models with "dyn_model" classname, so only small models on the ground. I downloaded every version of cod4 and I took files contains language files. Thanks for the report. I was shuffling all files to find errors but I didn't find any. Can you try to repeat all steps and tell me result? There is no difference between typing en, eng, English etc.

Simple do nothing and check S.M.A.R.T regularly for potential problems. You could try to erase+remap this sector if you would like to reinstall the system and this sector would stay broken.

Don't use this this tutorial. It shows how to erase full drive. C5 error shows one sector on your hdd is unstable (not broken) and require remapping. If your hdd is new, it should decide whether is it real bad sector and it will fix it automatically. Look at smart regularly to check for new ones and it will be fine.

Your game may not have been updated, that's why your version is fine, but after reinstall it will download "broken" file. Activision after a month changed execuable version to official 1.8, but it still breaks everything, because you can't enter any 1.7/x1.8 server. Retail versions are still 1.7. Also it resets stats from old profile folder, which 1.7 uses (not a big deal since x1.8 saves it in %localappdata%).
