Today I need a cool nN logo 350x350px in a circle shape. The logo will be placed into main menu. (on the green empty place)

Any format, but if it has transparent background, I will prefer extensions with transparency support (.png, .dds, .bmp 32bit a8 etc.)

I'm going to add a lot of improvements into our deathrun server soon.

One of these improvements are trails.

Like in title, I need some images to create some funny trails. Would be nice, if image was at least 256x256px.

Definitely I will add new music, sprays and fix these maps, but I would like to discuss other suggestions. Can someone comment/make an opinion? It would help me to decide should I change/remove something. I cannot rely on just one opinion :)

No, It's not. You don't understand I think. Server is getting download looping, because noone realized, that mappers will put files, which should be only in mod files, into maps. You just shouldn't do this, because if a server load such files like weapons once, then he will send information to a client to read the file all time. It's simply. The server gives commands to client to read weapon, but this file is missing(because our file is located in previous map). The client is going to download map again, because last location of this file was somewhere in map files. After download, client still hasn't the missing file, so it's going to download again, again... That's why you have download looping, and that's why add these weapons into mod files is great idea. :)

You have "addTriggerToList" function. Braxi created it long, long time ago for give xp for traps exacly! That's why you add it. You don't add it, because yes 

Using both functions you are making double xp on our servers.

I wrote some tutorial for someone and I decided to share it with you, because it can be good help for someone who completely don't know how to make own skins.

1. Programs

If you want to make your own skin, you need to download:

• iwi <--> dds converter  (http://tom-crowley.co.uk/downloads)
• Image editor with Direct Draw Sufrace (.dds) support

I was using a lot of programs and I think 3 of them are the best:

• Photoshop  (https://www.adobe.com/products/photoshop.html?promoid=KLXLS)
• Gimp + dds plugin  (https://www.gimp.org/downloads)  +  (http://registry.gimp.org/node/70)
• Paint.net  (http://www.getpaint.net/download.html)

Gimp and paint are very good to start. Easy interface and a lot of tutorials in internet.
Photoshop is good for advance editing.

2. How to edit
 
I will show you how to edit using ak47u weapon.

1st you have to get proper image.

Most stock weapons are named "weapon_[name]_col.iwi" and "mtl_weapon_[name]_col.iwi".

Different with custom weapons. For these weapons you have to find a file, which you want to edit.
 
So, our aku skin is called "weapon_ak47u_col.iwi".

It hasn't editable image yet. You need to convert it to .dds filetype. Excract iwi <--> dds converter and simple drag your iwi file on converter icon.

 
When you open it, you will see something like this:

This is 2d texture for aku model. As you see there is magazine, back, front, side of our weapon. Now you can edit it to whatever you want. If you don't know how to use tools in your program, find some tutorial on web.
 
If you like your work, then save it as .dds file with these settings (be sure you removed all mipmaps from file, or you will get error):
- Compression:
  - DXT1 (for no transparent image)
  - DXT5 (for transparent image)
- Generate mipmaps - enabled

As you know our deathrun have 10 custom weapons with stock skins. If anyone would like to try his skills to create some skins (not only custom), I share all weapon images from deathrun.

Can specify the full computer specification? From my experience everything can cause lag spikes. Try the following solutions:

- Remove pb folder from cod4 directory. You can easily install it using this: http://www.cfgfactory.com/downloads/show/53d8eb3f57679

- Open task manager and kill tasks, which use your hard drive most.

- Defrag your hdd (in search: "Defragmentation and disk optimization")

- Update your graphics driver

- Connect other hard drive to your pc/laptop, your hdd just may be damaged

I'm curious what exacly we are going to do in the team. I remember in the past someone had similar idea with creating deathrun team and then fight against other communities, but I don't know exacly, where the idea disappeared.

Every custom character/weapon cause download loop, because you shouldn't add such things into map, but you can easy solve it by adding these files into mod .iwd, or compile it into mod.ff

I think writting an script that moves to spectate team after inactivity is much easier than adding a command to b3. Also hitmarker should be included into script with possibility to toggle it on/off. (Subs: He means this

I have windows 10 since august and everything works fine, but I recommend to format and do clean install. I had an fps troubles, when i updated it. After clean and install win10 my pc works fine. If you had an windows7 you could think about stay, but win8 I would upgrade immediately.
