Doge liked a post in a topic by Puddingsbane in New version of GPU-Z now detects fake nVidia cards
This is more on a software side of things but it's interesting non the less. You all seen it on websites like newegg, amazon, ebay and such there are a bunch of graphic cards that are falsely advertised on what they are.
Modified BIOS to make the card look like something else than it is. Cryptocurrency mining has seen many cards snapped up and dumped only to end up on auction sites like ebay, so it's very tempting for the seller to modify the BIOS of a low end card and make it appear as a modern higher end card, and make some extra cash in the process knowing most of people are unaware of the changes and won't even look if the card is modified in any way.
TechPowerUp has released the new version of the GPU-Z software that now has the ability to detect those "fake" modified cards. It's not clear how they've done this but it works.
You can download the new version right now on TechPowerUp website here: https://www.techpowerup.com/download/techpowerup-gpu-z/
Here's the comparison of how GPU-Z would determine a legitimate nVidia card over a fake one:
This new feature still won't protect buyers from buying a fraudulent GPUs, but it will allow them to determine if the card they bought was fake or modified in any way.
Hats off to you majestic people.

Not much to add after @stelthii's answer.
You've been taken by our patrol with clear video evidences and admitted having cheated !
Cheaters are not welcome here and won't ever.

Hello there.
Well, here I am at last then. Sorry for the delay @ nN. I've been facing some technical difficulties.
Here is the proof for your ban and some notes from me:
1) Besides all the "lucky/no visibility" kills, many times there are people passing through your crosshairs but you make no move to shoot at them. You're so focused on a wall or some surface with seemingly nothing interesting going on. And what do you know, sure enough somebody pops out of that surface the exact next second.
2) At the very start, you spot a guy on the usual spot on bottom floor of that house. Smoke is deployed. You move your aim all the way to the upper floor to kill a guy you had no idea was there behind the wall. Even with UAV, it is impossible to see pings so far from you on minimap and even if you could, those two dots would overlap (2D map).
Many more examples I can type, but I don't think it's necessary.
Up to the Reds now.

That's sad. Batman, Sam & Max, Tales From The Borderlands, Tales of Monkey Island were one of the best constructed video games ever. I grew up on Sam & Max and Monkey Island series.

Puddingsbane liked a post in a topic by JillyJill in Telltale is shutting down, projects are being closed
Telltale is known as studio which makes episodic games with choices matter. A couple of days ago they announced massive dismissal of its workers: almost all of the employes have been laid off at once.
Many of the projects are canceled including The Wolf Among Us 2. The future of their ongoing projects is yet unknown.
Soon after release of The Walking Dead Final Season they suddenly raised the price. However, the game might remain unfinished, even though they still sell it.
If you have been looking into purchasing games that have not been finished yet, I recommend to look for more info first to avoid the risk of loosing your money.
Sad to see that, Telltale definitely had a great concept.

Forgot to mention, one player per ban request only. So if there's two people you need to make two BR's.
Keep that in mind
