Tino 1111
So I upgraded my old Mac Pro’s graphic card from a ATI Radeon HD 5870 http://i.imgur.com/6BcBhkg.jpg to a fairly new but used MSI NVIDIA GTX 970 http://i.imgur.com/p4dUaQT.jpg I decided to give my Mac a benchmark test before and after the upgrade with Unigine Heaven Benchmark.https://unigine.com/en/products/benchmarks/heaven Drivers were installed on the Mac using NVIDIA Web Driver. Tino 1111
which game is that? Air bukkaneers? It’s not from a game as far as I know, Its just a Multiplatform benchmark App called Unigine Heaven. Although I see the resemblance to AirBuccaneers Quote http://i.imgur.com/Sh5FS5q.png http://i.imgur.com/qAoHeKj.gif?
Puddingsbane 1153
From my perspective this is nice but i would advise you to upgrade your RAM with higher speed. 14 GB of RAM is sufficient but that 1066 MHz of processing speed is not. If your mac supports higher frequency RAMs go for DDR3 1600 or 1866 MHz to boost the overall performance. Tino likes this
Tino 1111
I think I read you can have a max of 1333MHz and thats only with a firmware hack to make it think is a mid 2010 Mac Quote http://i.imgur.com/Sh5FS5q.png http://i.imgur.com/qAoHeKj.gif?
Puddingsbane 1153
The MOBO limitations. I actually never used or worked on a mac before. Is it any good?
