Spent too many hours in the woods with my camera and intervalometer just to practice night photography, even it has been pretty cold and my gear got frozen couple of times... Fallen 259 Posted February 29, 2016 Report Share Posted February 29, 2016 I have Canon 5D Mark II and some fast Canon (3)Sigma(2)Samyang lenses(1). So far my favorite lenses are Canon 70-200mm 2.8 and Sigma's 50mm 1.4. I have some older Canon bodies and lenses too, but my kid is using those. I just recently bought Samyang 24mm f/1.4 for astrophotography because it's better from the corners etc. and used it for this just to see how it handles landscape. It seems I got a decent copy of it so far, but some night sky pictures will tell the truth.
