Spoiler 33 We sum the two parts of equation 1 with the respective two parts of equation 2. At the end we get a new equation: A + 2A - 4B + 7B +2C - 5C = 16 + 83 => 3A + 3B - 3C = 99 (3) At this point we notice that equation 3 that we just got, looks a lot like the riddle's last equation.
