Somehow only found out today on release day that Metro Exodus has been removed from Steam in favor of the Epic Store. Another game I will not be supporting unfortunately.

The store has an offline mode now: https://www.epicgames.com/store/en-US/news/launcher-offline-mode
Why is that move from Steam to Epic Store a problem?

Acea, lousy security, no cloud saves, Tencent is the share holder company for epic and i don't trust those guys, over all shitty launcher in comparison to steam, no refund policy until very recently. They miss a lot of features, plus i hate them for destroying development of unreal tournament because of fortnite

Besides that, I do not want yet another launcher. I have hundreds of games on Steam, and dozens of games on other launchers. I do not want to download a launcher for a single game. They used Steam, which is by far a superior platform, to boost pre-order sales, only to back out last minute. The last thing I want to do is give my payment-information to Tencent. I have heard a lot of bad things about those guys.
