Scrappydoo 680
Could be a virus or disk faulty Or some services running in the background Roohansama likes this
Call911 498
Yo man I had that problem few times but I google it and fix it. There is a few things what I does: Reset virtual memory, Disable anti-virus software temporarily,Update device drivers, And you should check did your pc downloaded last version of update. Mrozy 391
In most cases it is caused by windows defender or windows update. Simply go to task manager(remember to open via administrator) and find correct svchost, which uses 100% of your resources. Then press "go to services" by pressing right mouse button on correct process and find the culprit. Otherwise, if you don't see such a process, open resource monitor using search box (If you don't know how the app is called in your language type perfmon.exe and in performance press "open resource monitor" You will find it here). Then go to disk tab and look for most disk usage process. Roohansama likes this Quote http://csgo-stats.com/mrozy/graphic.png
Puddingsbane 1153
Try checking for a process called "superfetch" when you start your PC next time. It's one of the main things that causes 100% disk usage and since you said it begins with you turning your PC on I'm most assured it's the main cause of the issue. The programs and other processes you are running in the background are written in your RAM memory (hence RAM caches), superfetch is basically making your hard drive to fetch those programs from memory to load quicker than usual. Don't be alarmed, it's not harmful at all and you can disable it if you want. Roohansama likes this
