As we started playing GRID and DiRT, let's talk about racing games

 

Which type of races do you prefer? What cars do you like the most?

my favorite game?? nope !

i have a favorite series 

Need For Speed  :cool2:

played almost all the nfs games, except nfs 2015 !

 

mostly played Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit 2, Underground 2, Most Wanted 2005(single+multiplayer), Most Wanted 2012(single+multiplayer), The run and nfs Rivals, i still remember maps !!!!!  :cool2: 

 

favorite cars - 

Ferrari F50 and Mclaren F1, Ferrari Enzo Ferrari, Hennessey Benom gt, Lamborghini Veneno, BMW M3 GTR, Nissan skyline GTR R34, GTR R35, Mclaren Mp4 12c, 

and much more cars !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 

 

other than this now i like Dirt 3, really nice racing game experience  :smile2:

now looking forward to play more GRID and Dirt 3 in the future ^^

NFS Most Wanted is on top of my list because of its amazing campaign. NFS Underground, Midnight club 3 and Burnout are also one of my fav's :)*All new NFS are garbage.

Started to play Race games, on Sega Megadrive : Super Monaco GP (I can't forget to notice it as it has been the first)

A bit later, i've enjoyed Gran Turismo on PlayStation1, this game is for me the reference in terms of racing simulation, so precise and addictive, that i've played all opus since the start.

Played also, all the Need For Speed since the first one and until Undercover (GT2-RS FTW) which is for me the best one of the serie right after Underground 2, Most Wanted and Carbon. I'm agree with Bennoo, all the recent NFS since 2010 haven't the same taste and playability, even if i tried them all but didn't finish them.

 

NFS is more an Arcade Race Game, than a real driving simulation, but really pleasant and enjoyable anyway

 

 

 

 

As race driving simulation, i will put in my podium, Race Driver : GRID and GRID 2 coz i've really and deeply enjoyed the gameplay and the diversity of cars playable + the various difficulty of each kind of races available.

P.s : need to quote too : GTR series, Split/Second Velocity, Shift, Test Drive, FlatOut, Colin McRay and Dirt ^^ (after 32 years of gaming you can imagine how many games i've played)

I honestly never really played racing games. I have a steering wheel, where I played F1 2000 on a few times.And besides a lot of n64 mariokart and GC DoubleDash Mariokart, I only played asphalt Urban GT on the nintendo ds.

Rocket league isn't racing so, doesnt count.

Granturismo (3-6) is the best for me because i like the huge list of cars and many tracks also, and i like the way you can customize the cars settings its simple but still many options.

 

second is nfs most wanted... Well i think people already know this game and why its awesome :D

 

Well third is Flat out 2 liked the physics and it was just so much fun to use batmobile (cheat car) and drive wrong way on track and crash into opponents. It had fun minigames also

 

Too bad i had all these games and many other on ps2 and ps3 that i dont have anymore :(

 

And games i have to mention: Crash team racing, Crash nitro kart, Trackmania, DiRT 3 and Burnout 3. :)

 

Oh and favorite car must be toyota supra mk4 or mazda rx7 mk3 love the sound of that rotary :)
