NoName numbered servers.

Recommended Posts

Hi all,

Maybe its more handy to number our servers. For Ban Requests and calling admin, that kind of stuff.

ATM we have 3 servers (Not sure though)

I'd say we name it like this: nN|#(1)|(server name)

So for broadcast (I just call is #2) it whould be:

nN|#2|Broadcast 24/7

Or for the players looking at the general server list(whould be more handy to see what is the server):

nN|Broadcast 24/7|#2

Just like back then at Area...hmm, not a bad idea...

Maybe we can improve the noticebox with the IP adress of the server in it so the admin can see right away with an IP list next to it what server it is, so notices will be easyer to reply to

Noticebox with IP will make it a lot easyer.

Also for admins with no xfire (dunno if they exist)

And the numbered will be easy to call in shoutbox or xfire. Just 'hey there is a hcker on #2, can you come' you know in an instant what server it is.

Bumping topic, but yes. It will be helpful. My suggestion is for Tutors, or the FAQ section to teach the members/users how to notice a hacker/rulebreaker correctly with a format as follows: CMD -    !notice <name> <reason> <Server #>

No need to edit Notice box with a new field and extra Scripting.

When we can simply ask/teach users and members to Notice them STATING the server number.

Easier to manage without extra efforts. :)VooDoo Out!

Well, if someone is able to, we will be able to respond to many more notices.

By far not all players register on the forum. So they never will be able to notice correctly, so we can respond quickly.

What we can do is if someone notices make a B3 script where B3 says to only the person who noticed something like:

Notice added. Did you use it correctly? !notice <name> <reason> <server>.

I know this one is silly but than the persons in the server who arent on the forums will also know how to notice.
