I was on Reunion Island (Indian ocean) for 13 years. I'm back in France near Paris now.

For your info about cost : New domain : 8-12 euros (for one year) New website / Main Server : from 5 to 15 euros HT/month (kimsufi proposal)

I suggest Kimsufi KS-4 19.99 Euro/m. If I understand the kimisufi website it's the only one avaible at the moment. What about installation cost? Do you found it?

Money is not in my values too, but we need cash for our website and servers.

 

So (Substanz), sorry if I said something about it before on shoutbox...but I have to say one more thing:

 

We had a big adventure before. I think we can hold good things and left the bad ones.

 

One bad thing was that community didn't know exactly cost of domain, cost of server, revenue of adv and total of donations. 

 

I think we can made in this new clan every month a clear summary, with cost and gain.

 

To avoid any problems...

Thanks for sharing your (long) experience with us! :P

My second suggestion is start with 3/4 server max. Why?

 

1. More player (we are a lot, but not always online...have 8/12 servers almost empty is not good)

2. No much money

3. Easy management (setting and hackers)

1. create a working teams with tasks (manage forum, setting server, manage admin, create rules and SoP)

2. Find a good servers with strong anti ddos

3. Create basic sections in the forum

4. Make a poll  for the clan name
