  3. One of my all time favorite is Vampire The Masquerade: Bloodlines. Came out in 2004 and it was one of the best action RPG games. It puts you in a shoes of the vampire from one of 7 playable clans with each having their special powers and feats like Malkavian clan, the deranged lunatics of the vampire world (my no.1 to play with :D). It's still pretty awesome and if you have a chance to play it, do so.
  4. Hey man. Welcome to the forum and good luck. See ya in game sometimes
  5. The leader? That is actually hard to answer. From my point of view the birth of Westwood Studios and Blizzard was the birth of RTS games. So Warcraft and Command & Conquer series are the forefathers of strategy games.
  6. I'm also a huge fan of Warhammer games. The lore is freaking awesome and the gameplay is insane good. From the 40K universe to just Warhammer universe with undead, dwarfs, mages and other fantasy RPG stuff. For me it all started with Age Of Empires. That game is my favorite til this day, and I remember one time playing against the AI we used an enormous amount of troops. The population cap was maxed out so there was a ton of soldiers fighting on both sides but also we had a huge number of priests, and they have a power to convert the enemy soldiers to your side while yelling "WOLOLOLO". What
  7. I would marry the remastered version because it looks so beautiful.
  8. Today is Sith day also known the revenge of the 5th! Come to the dark side, we have cookies
  9. Hey nN! Since strategy games are one of my favorite game categories, I wanted to ask do you love RTS games? If so, which ones and do you still play that type of game genre? Share your experiences in playing, strategy you used, funny moments, screenshots of your vast armies or your fails. It would be nice to know that there are RTS lovers like myself among you. Have fun.
  10. http://cdn.wccftech.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/05/dawn-of-war-3-logo-635x357.jpg The huge news hit the internet by storm as Relic Entertainment announced the third installment of their epic Warhammer 40K: Dawn Of War franchise. If you are a fanatic fan of Warhammer like I am, you are literally feeling that tingling sensation in all the right places of your body like I am right now. Some call it sexual arousal I call it bliss (if you'll excuse me for a second, ehmm!). Release date is set to be in 2017 and that's all that is known about it for now. However, given we haven’t seen so much a
  11. Tino you just made my day with this :D. Thank you and may the 4th be with you :)
  12. The time has come to get my head out of my ASSets and try new Heroes Of Might And Magic VII. Been very sceptical about newer versions of the game, particularly HOMM VI and VII. They somehow just lack that shine and gameplay of HOMM III and HOMM V, I hope I will not be disappointed.

  13. Here's mine, he never goes to sleep without his teddy bear
  14. For me there are FPS, RPG, RTS. Actually anything with good story, gameplay, visuals (not all the time) and I'm sold :). Also I can't pass by the old games with huge replay value, classics are classics and they will stay that way to the end.
  15. svchost.exe is a generic host process name for services that run from dynamic-link libraries. Microsoft started moving all of the functionality from internal Windows services into .dll files instead of .exe files. From a programming perspective this makes more sense for reusability… but the problem is that you can’t launch a .dll file directly from Windows, it has to be loaded up from a running executable (.exe). and that's how svchost.exe process was born. there are a Lot of services required by Windows and that is the reason there are so many of them when you look in task manager. If e
  16. You can also see what background programs is that dummy service is using by opening the task manager, finding the that svchost.exe that uses the most of your processor/memory, right clicking on it and then clicking on "Go to service(s)". that way you can see the processes running by that particular service and decide what process will you shut down to free CPU or memory load. Most of the time it is some kind of virus in question but not all of the time. Be careful with this kinds of stuff because it could potentially break your laptop.
  17. Happy birthday Kaneki-san!! All the best and may it be a great one ;)
  18. Maybe you have some sort of malicious software in your system. Try scanning it for spyware, adaware, rootkit and other pesky things that do this. And if that doesn't work you can try opening task manager, find the svchost.exe and open it's location (i think it should be in C:windowssystem32), double click on the app .exe to start the new service and terminate the clone one that is causing you problems.
  19. Hey man, good luck and welcome to NoName :)
  20. Happy birthday buddy. Have a great one, CHEERS!
