    The custom cooling cards seem to be fine. It was the fabric/standard edition that had very sketchy temps. 

     

    The cards have been discontinued by AMD, price to performance of either AIB cards and reference ones is just not worth it, waste of money to be honest.

    I would avoid Radeon VII to be honest.

    Is it a 1st gen threadripper or? I recommend going with the AMD Ryzen 7 3700X for everyday use in Photoshop or Illustrator, and to go with the Ryzen 9 3900X when you plan on also doing more multi core rendering or video encoding. These Ryzen 2 chips destroy 1st and 2nd gen Threadripper and anything in i7 and i9 lineup from intel in productivity workloads. In general make sure there's more horsepower in the CPU department instead of GPU, so 1660Ti should be good and it's a pretty decent GPU.

    This would break the game entirely, that's one of the reasons why heli is out and unusable. We are speaking of cross HC where there are a bunch of players and streaks are used constantly, predator drone would be too OP in situations and servers like this. With airstrikes you have some randomness to the streak itself, but controllable missile used by players every few seconds....you can see where this is going and how it's gonna end.

    Use DDU and reinstall display drivers. What motherboard are you using and in what PCI slot do you have your GPU plugged in? Most of the bridges now go over the cpu and southbridge is not what it used to be (to elaborate on newer architectures like AM4 and such the PCI-E x16 slot on your motherboard is communicating with over the CPU itself). Either DDU your drivers (all of them because this could be an issue with chipset drivers or chipset itself and not just GPU drivers) and start fresh or re-seat your cpu and makke sure you don't overtighten the cooler, because too much pressure on the pins from the cooler can lead to errors and complications with RAM and bunch of other things.
