It's an ingame bug. Call yourself lucky if that happens to you as chances to have that are 1% out of 100. I had that happen to me once in a promod competitive league game. Haha :D

Well it might not even be the case for you. It's just one of recent windows 10 updates which ''fucked'' it up for quite a lot of people. I don't play Apex so I don't know how their servers work if that was the issue for you. Cheers! ;)

- then click uninstall

- restart computer and thats it

Unless its duo this microsoft issue I can't help you much. Apparently that's a known issue from one of the last windows 10 updates:

- view update history

- uninstall updates
