New Year just began, and of course we are excited for many upcoming games. Horror fans get a special vibe since three noteworthy remakes will be released one after the other.

      Dead Space
The original game still stands the ground to this day. We can say without a shadow of doubt that it has aged well and can easily compete with many modern horrors. The remake will be even more impressive thanks to enhanced graphics and several gameplay adjustments, such as flying in zero-gravity setting. More than that, Isaac Clarke will be fully voiced to make the game even more immersive.

Despite of numerous visual changes, Dead Space Remake will remain true to its original version. Redesigned locations and assets will improve the quality of the environment to make it even more stunning, while the story will be exactly as we remember it.

Dead Space Remake will launch on January 27th, 2023 on PC, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S. All people who pre-order it on Steam will also receive a classic Dead Space 2 for free!

      Resident Evil 4
Unlike previous title, the original Resident Evil 4 isn't graphically outstanding even with HD textures but it is still considered one of the best survival horror games out there. Many fans of the iconic saga have been waiting for this remake even before it was in the works, especially after Capcom succesfully remade the second opus. This installment is promising to be on top of our expectations, too.

While the environment remains familiar, it was completely revisioned on most parts of the game. The whole atmosphere will become more tense, creating an absolutely spine-chilling experience for new players and long-time fans. Resident Evil 4 will also feature multiple gameplay tweaks, including new inventory & crafting menu and improved combat.

Resident Evil 4 Remake will be released on March 24th, 2023 on PC, Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 4 and 5.

      Silent Hill 2
This remake should breathe new life into the whole franchise as we haven't seen any new Silent Hill game for a very long time. It is still in early stage of development, but we can expect a lot of improvements, given the fact that original game came out over 20 years ago. After watching the trailer, we can already notice that the town became more detailed, even though its larger part is covered by smoke. Many technical aspects will also be ameliorated, although we don't know much about gameplay changes yet.

The upcoming Silent Hill 2 Remake will be developed by Bloober Team, the studio behind Layers of Fear, Blair Witch, Observer and The Medium. The team has already proved their strength in creating horror games, so we can be assured of the quality of their project.

Silent Hill 2 Remake doesn't have a release date yet, however it's confirmed to be a Playstation 5 exclusive for a year after the launch, and later must also be available on PC. The series will be supplemented with a new title - Silent Hill Ascension, so the wait might not be as long as we imagine.

      Improvements

Comparing to original title, Resident Evil 4 brings us enhanced graphics and better character designs. The gameplay will also be a bit different from the classic horror game, making it more modern and smooth. The inventory and crafting menu have also been improved, and the ambiance is looking more creepy and dark than before.

      Release date

Resident Evil 4 is set to release on March 24, 2023. Hopefully, we'll be able to try a demo earlier, as Capcom has been treating us with free introductions to their upcoming games before. Hey everyone,

I had a bit of time to discover Resident Evil Re:Verse during open beta and would like to share with you gameplay and tutorial videos. For those who don't know, Resident Evil Re:Verse is a multiplayer mode that's going to be available for owners of Resident Evil Village, an upcoming sequel to popular franchise.

You begin a match as a human (Chris Redfield, Jill Valentine, Ada Wong, Leon Kennedy, Claire Redfield or Hunk) and shoot other players. When dead, they are going to respawn as a bioweapon (Fat Molded, Hunter y, Jack Baker, Nemesis or Syper Tyrant). I find the gameplay to be a bit chaotic because everyone's killing each other, even humans are against humans, and not playing as a team. As for the rest, I think it's a fun little addition to the main game. Design is nice and performance is smooth.
