This means that if you have your Steam client open and CoD4 running, the server will use your steam name as the nickname. When you change your name ingame, it may seem to have no effect. The fix is simple: close steam and start CoD4 manually by clicking the iw3mp.exe in your CoD4 folder. Alternative fix: change your steam nickname.
