Welcome to NoName Rust Server!

Having a limited-PVP, non-KOS (Kill on sight) allows you to farm without the worry of being randomly killed while still packing a lot of the fast-paced Rust action. Here you can choose whether you want to fight or not, however, bear in mind that you CAN kill, and you WILL be killed in certain circumstances. Below, you will find all the rules and mechanics of the server.

Rules

1. Limited PVP means that PVP is only allowed under certain circumstances. Those are as follows:

1.A) On Card Puzzle Monuments - Across the map, you will be able to find several monuments, such as Power Plant, Mining Outpost, Abandoned Supermarket, etc. Card Puzzle Monuments make reference to only those monuments that have a Card Puzzle on it, such as Power Plant, Launch Site, etc. Thus, monuments that do not have Card Puzzle such as Mining Outpost, Abandoned Supermarket, etc, are NOT PVP zones. Thus, KOSing on these NON Card Puzzle Monuments could lead to sanctions. The area of a monument extends up to where you start finding Monument generated structures, such as concrete, fences, etc. Also, keep in mind that BOTH parts of the fight MUST BE within the monument. You cannot kill or be killed from outside the monument with a long range weapon.

1.B) Patrol helicopter - The Patrol Helicopter is an NPC that can be killed revealing crates with high-end loot in them, however, you must wait until the fire surrounding the crates extinguish before being able to loot them. While the Heli is being taken down, you cannot PVP, however, once is down, the whole area around the crash site IS PVP until the crates are looted. Once the crates are looted, if you KOS, you could be sanctioned. However, bear in mind that if the crash site is on a Card Puzzle Monument, PVP keeps going as rule 1.A) still applies.

1.C) Airdrops - The server will deliver an Airdrop crate that contains mid to high-end loot in them, or a player can also request one with a Supply Signal. All the area below the Airdrop IS PVP while it's falling. Once it lands, it remains PVP until it's looted. Once looted, PVP is over. However, bear in mind that if the Airdrop lands on a Card Puzzle Monument, PVP keeps going as rule 1.A) still applies.

1.D) Raiding and counter raiding - The whole area around a raid is PVP, either you are raiding, defending a raid, or countering a raid, thus, you are allowed to kill on sight. A raid starts when a structure receives any sort of damage, however, damage must be actually made in order to start the raid. For example, throwing a rock to a wall WILL NOT start a raid as the HP on the wall will not decrease over the rock hitting it. Therefore, if you KOS someone after throwing your rock towards the wall, you will be sanctioned. Also, the raid MUST be active before being able to KOS. If you kill someone and then start raiding, that WILL BE taken as KOS and you will be sanctioned.

2. Maximum team size is 4 people:

2.A) You can only raid with your main group (Max 4 people), who are those who you share a base with, and they all MUST be authorized on the main base TC.

2.B) You can still do monuments with different people from your main group, however, you still must respect the team size limit of 4.

2.C) Authorizing for example 12 people on your TC and multi raid with 3 different 4 people teams WILL BE considered as Teaming and punished. Every single team MUST have a main base and only 4 people can be authorized to its TC.

2.D) Complementing 2.C) You cannot build a multi-team compound to house 3 teams of 4 people. The base limit is considered up to the external walls. So, if there are 3 bases with 4 people each inside a common compound, it WILL BE considered as Teaming, and punished accordingly. However, you might still build a multi base compound, as long as it is for your 4 people team only.

2.E) Upon any suspected teaming offense, you could be removed from the server either temporarily or permanently.

3. Be respectful and a good sport:

3.A) No Despawning.

3.B) No Door camping.

3.C) No in siding (Being friendly with someone to gain access to their base to later rob them).

3.D) You cannot demand a player for their loot and threaten to kill them if they don't give it away. However, you can still kill and loot on PVP zones (Read rule 1)

3.E) No downing outside of PVP areas (Damaging someone up to the point they are downed to loot them and then revive them)

3.F) No griefing (Taking over a raided base. When you are done raiding, you MUST remove any door you might have placed in order to stop counter raiders)

3.G) Placing traps outside your base or with the capabilities of affecting players that are not within your base is not allowed. Every single turret MUST be placed inside either your base or your compound and cannot have the capability of shooting someone who is outside either your base or your compound.

Scale of punishment:

Every rule has a scale of punishment. This is the set of punishments on first, second and third occurrence you might receive for each rule broken.

1. Limited PVP means that PVP is only allowed under certain circumstances:

Breaking any of these rules will carry a permanent ban from our server on first occurrence. We handle a zero tolerance policy towards KOS, so be aware.

2. Maximum team size is 4 people:

2.A) and 2.B) First offense will carry on a temporary ban for 2 weeks, on second offense you will receive a 3 months temporary ban, and lastly, on third offense, you will be permanently removed from our server.

2.C) and 2.D) If you are caught infringing rule 2.C and/or 2.D, you will be given a warning and a grace period of 24 hours as first occurrence punishment, to either abandon the base or kick the other team(s) out of the multi-team compound. If neither of those happen within this grace period, it will be taken as a challenging offense against the administrators team, and it will be counted as a second occurrence offense, as on first occurrence the sanction was given as warning and a grace period to solve the issue instead of banning you for 2 weeks. For this reason, if the issue is not solved within 24 hours, you will directly receive a 3 months temporary ban as a second offense, and as a third offense once those 3 months are over you will be permanently removed from our server if you are caught teaming again.

Also, please keep in mind that every rule within Teaming (2.A, 2.B, 2.C, and 2.D) are cumulative under the same main rule. Thus, if you receive a first and second punishment for 2.A, or 2.B, you can receive a third punishment for the first offense on either 2.C or 2.D and vise versa.

Lastly, keep in mind that if you are found guilty of teaming under 2.C or 2.D and the issue is not resolved within the grace period, every single player under the multi-team compound will be sanctioned, and the whole compound will be removed from the map.

3. Be respectful and a good sport:

3.A), 3.B), 3.G) You will receive a warning on first occurrence, a temporary ban for 1 day on second occurrence, and a temporary ban for 2 weeks on third occurrence. Please keep in mind that after you accumulate 3 offenses, further sanctions will always be a third occurrence sanction, resulting on a temporary ban for 2 weeks. So, on 4th occurrence, you will receive another 2 weeks ban. Also, regarding 3.G) Every trap placed outside the base or pointing to the outside, will be removed by an admin.

3.C) On first occurrence you will receive a 3 days temporary ban, a 2 weeks temporary ban on second occurrence, and a 3 months temporary ban on third occurrence. Please keep in mind that after you accumulate 3 offenses, further sanctions will always be a third occurrence sanction, resulting on a temporary ban for 3 months. So, on 4th occurrence, you will receive another 3 months ban.

3.D) As this rule is linked to KOS, and we have a zero tolerance policy regarding KOS, sanctions will be higher on this offense. On first occurrence you will receive a 1 week temporary ban, on second offense a 2 months temporary ban, and on the offense, you will be given a permanent ban.

3.E) As this rule is linked to KOS, and we have a zero tolerance policy regarding KOS, sanctions will be higher on this offense. On first occurrence you will receive a 2 weeks temporary ban, on second offense, a 3 months temporary ban, and on third offense, you will be given a permanent ban.

3.F) On first offense, you will receive a 2-week temporary ban. On a second occurrence, you will receive a 3 months temporary ban, and on the third occurrence, you will be permanently removed from the server. Also, whatever structure used to grief the base will be removed and the base will be given back to the original owner.

Ban avoiding:

Any player caught avoiding a ban, will receive a further punishment on both the main and secondary account. Up to the point that all our accounts are permanently banned on third occurrence. So, if you are initially temporary banned for 3.C first offense (3 days) and you are later caught Ban Avoiding, you will be temporarily banned on both the main and the smurf account for 3.C second offense (2 weeks), and on second Ban Avoidance offense, you will be banned on all your smurfs and your main account for the next 3.C offense (third offense, 3 months). Lastly, on a third occurrence of Ban Avoiding, you and all your smurf accounts will be permanently removed from the server regardless of the offense on which you were initially found guilty.
