It's done :D My rig finally build

27 December 2016 - 06:08 AM

Hey guys!! After a long time of absence and inactivity, I have finally emerged xD I basically finished building my pc :) Worked on first try and it took me 3 hours to build! I have pictures and specs etc posted on my pc part picker account, and it got some nice feedback tbh. If anyone interesting in checking my setup pics: https://ca.pcpartpicker.com/b/TLCypg

I bought BF1 so far, looking into Overwatch and CoD remastered too :)  It's still a busy month of work but boxing day is over finally. A little more time now :D

Update on my rig :)

29 November 2016 - 05:12 AM

Hey guys, been a while since I actually posted a topic but here I am e,e

Anyways, I mentioned a few weeks ago that I was going to build a high end PC. I am still working on it. It's been a month and so far I have 2 pieces only. However, these 2 pieces are part of the 3 most expensive. :) So I only got 1 more expensive piece to buy, the monitor and then the rest should be easy.

I bought my GPU and CPU. I actually bought my CPU on Black Friday so I got a 100$ profit on that and it's still being shipped.

Here's my GPU:

Spoiler

Here are my future PC specs:

CPU : Intel Core i7-6700K 4.0GHz Quad-Core Processor
CPU COOLER: Corsair H100i v2 70.7 CFM Liquid CPU Cooler
MOBO: Asus Z170 PRO GAMING/AURA ATX LGA1151 Motherboard
RAM: G.Skill Trident Z 16GB (2 x 8GB) DDR4-3200 Memory
SSD: Still to decide - most likely a Samsung just haven't decided which.
Storage: Seagate Barracuda 1TB 3.5" 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive(Might not get this and invest for a good SSD)
GPU: Asus GeForce GTX 1070 8GB STRIX Video Card
Case: Phanteks Enthoo Pro ATX Full Tower Case
PSU: EVGA SuperNOVA G2 650W 80+ Gold Certified Fully-Modular ATX Power Supply
OS: Windows 10 Home 64-bit
Monitor: Asus VG248QE 24.0" 144Hz Monitor (Might change)

Need help picking parts for pc.

15 August 2016 - 06:36 AM

Hey guys.. been a long time since I actually posted something but i'm at that point of life where it's "all-in-one" :p

Anyways, I am sick of using laptops for gaming and i'm going for a HUGE upgrade. My budget is more than 3k CAD$. However, I am not very experienced in computer parts and benchmarks. So I need your help.

What I am looking for: Max settings on almost any game with solid fps(maybe even record while at it). I do not care about the looks.

Peripherals and monitor not needed. Just want advise on the pc. Also I don't want to overspend on something that makes a little difference, unless it's necessary to meet my needs. Also want suggestions for cases, not looks, but good space for airflow while compatible with the parts. :D

I'm slowly coming back... and i'm coming back biiiiiiiiiiiiig.  :cool2:

I'd say this game is somewhat similar to Runescape or Neverwinter. However, there's way more stuff you can do and the best part is taming freaking dragons lol. I played the game for about 2 hours and to speak the truth it was fun in my opinion. The tutorial is kinda bad as I had to figure some stuff out on my own but that's just because I tend to get lazy and dumb at some points lol.

The game has mixed reviews with a percentage of 58% being positive. I'd say it's worth a try.

Game is currently in open beta - free ofcourse. The game size is 18 gb.
