-Graphics / Visibility

 You can't do any damage if you can't see them. Setup the graphics so you can always see enemy players. Play around with the in game settings. There are numerous configs online also. yitch3.cfg is my favourite. I use a modified version of it. 

 

-Lock the FPS to 76, 125 or 250 for optimisation.

 If your PC can't reach 125 or 250 constantly, use 76. I personally use: /com_maxfps 250 

 

-Mouse Sensitivity.

 Practise finding a good mouse sensitivity, so you can turn quickly, yet snap with accuracy to any targets.

 

-Controls

 Make binds quick and easy to use that you prefer and will remember. 

 

-Sound

 I have a 5.1 headset my self. But even with my old £30 headphones its easy to hear footsteps and other small audio ques.

 

-Movement

 As you get better so will your movement. More efficient routes, quieter, faster etc. Comes with time. 

 

-Weapons

 Find your favourites and practise with them. The quicker you are the better. 

 

-Perks

 For HC, I use Bandolier, UAV Jammer and Deep Impact. So I can be partially stealthy with the Jammer Active, but lethal with assualt rifles. 

 

-Communication

 Play with friends on our teamspeak server. Callouts make a huge difference. The more you know about the enemy team, the better!
