Puddingsbane 1153 Posted June 1, 2017 Report Share Posted June 1, 2017 Although they still haven't finished the development of DayZ, for this month Bohemia Interactive is cooking a new 5v5 free to play FPS Argo. ARMA series entertained, and still is, PC gamers for quite some time now. But again, the game is not free so the developers in the last year or so were working on the solution how to attract new audience withouth going totaly away from a pay to win concept. The resault is Argo, the project incubated from ARMA 3. Argo will be a tactical FPS focused on a 5v5 fights across three different modes. The fights are between two groups of mercenaries on a somwhat altered island of Malden from the original ARMA game. Besides a competitive gamplay, Argo will have Combat Patrol mode where ten players will battle AI in a randomly generated open world map. Bohemia promises Argo to be a completely free to play title, which means there are no microtransactions or any other payment options beside so called Supporter's Pack you can pick for 10€ which contains some cosmetics for your body armor, weapons and such things. Game will be available on Steam Early Access 22nd of June (22.6.2017.), and on the same day ARMA 3 will get a free DLC containing said Malden Island map and Combat Patrol mode.
