Windows 7 updating slow, here is the solution

Hi all,

 

as i was to update my windows 7, after more then 2h of searching for updates,

it still didn't find any updates. Well known problem

 

 

Now microsoft made some changes, 

 

U need 2 download 2 files   

1* Update for Windows 7 for x64-based Systems (KB3125574)

Windows6.1-KB3125574-v4-x64  (480mb file)

 

This is a major update since windows 7 Service pack 1 came out,  it has all the updates from SP1 till June 2016 in 1 package (it's like a service pack but microsoft doesn't want to call it like that)

 

 

 

2* July Update For windows 7 for X64-based Systems

 

Windows6.1-KB3172605-x64 (30mb file)

 

 

After installing these 2 files , windows update search did only 2 min for searching other files ( instead of many hours)
